Proof of Play Reports

Generate detailed reports that verify exactly what content was displayed, where, and when.

Report Types

Summary Report:

  • Total play count per content item
  • Total play time per content item
  • Device and store breakdown
  • Time period summary

Detailed Report:

  • Individual playback records with timestamps
  • Content item, device, and store for each play
  • Duration and completion status
  • Sortable by any column

Generating a Report

1. Go to Analytics > Proof of Play 2. Set the date range 3. Apply filters:

  • Content — Specific items or all content
  • Device — Specific devices or all
  • Store — Specific locations or all

4. Click Generate Report

Report Fields

For advertising clients, schedule automated weekly proof of play reports sent directly to their email. This builds trust and reduces manual reporting work.

Exporting

Export proof of play data in multiple formats:

  • CSV — For spreadsheet analysis and custom reports
  • PDF — For formal documentation and client delivery

Scheduled Reports

Automate report generation:

1. Go to Analytics > Scheduled Reports 2. Click Create Schedule 3. Select report type (Proof of Play) 4. Set frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) 5. Choose recipients (email addresses) 6. Configure filters and format

Data Accuracy

Proof of play data accuracy depends on:

  • Device being online and reporting
  • Player app running correctly
  • Correct time sync on the device

If a device is offline, proof of play data is stored locally and uploaded when the device reconnects. Reports for offline periods may not be immediately available.
