WhatsApp Content

Upload and manage content directly through WhatsApp for quick, on-the-go content updates.

Uploading Content

The fastest way to get content onto your screens:

1. Open your WhatsApp conversation with GoVista 2. Send an image or video as a message 3. The bot confirms the upload and shows a preview 4. Choose what to do with the content:

  • Add to library — Save to your media library
  • Add to playlist — Insert into an existing playlist
  • Quick publish — Push directly to a device or store

Supported Content

  • Images — JPEG and PNG (WhatsApp compressed)
  • Videos — MP4 (WhatsApp may compress)

For the best quality, send images and videos as documents instead of regular messages. This prevents WhatsApp's compression and preserves the original resolution.

Quick Publish Workflow

1. Send the content (image or video) 2. Select Quick Publish 3. Choose the target device or store from the list 4. Confirm 5. The content appears on screen within seconds

Adding to Existing Playlists

1. Send the content 2. Select Add to Playlist 3. Choose from your existing playlists 4. Set the duration (for images) 5. The content is added to the end of the playlist

AI Content Generation

1. Send "ai" or select AI Content from the menu 2. Describe the image you want 3. Choose the aspect ratio 4. Wait for generation (usually 5-15 seconds) 5. The generated image is sent back 6. Choose to save, publish, or regenerate

Content from Phone Camera

Take a photo with your phone and send it directly to GoVista:

  • Great for quick menu updates (photograph the daily special)
  • Capture event signage or promotional materials
  • Document store layouts for reference

Managing Uploads

After uploading via WhatsApp:

  • Content appears in your media library tagged as "WhatsApp Upload"
  • You can rename, tag, and organize it from the dashboard
  • Original and compressed versions are both available

WhatsApp compresses images and videos by default. For high-resolution content intended for large screens, upload via the dashboard instead of WhatsApp to preserve full quality.
