Analytics Overview

GoVista Analytics gives you insights into your digital signage performance, helping you make data-driven content decisions.

Accessing Analytics

1. Click Analytics in the main navigation 2. Select the time period (today, this week, this month, custom range) 3. Use the scope selector to filter by brand, region, store, or device

Key Metrics

Device Metrics:

  • Uptime — Percentage of time devices were online
  • Online/Offline status — Current and historical device availability
  • Content sync rate — How quickly devices synced new content

Content Metrics:

  • Play count — Total number of times each content item was displayed
  • Total play time — Cumulative display duration
  • Completion rate — Percentage of content items that played to completion

Audience Metrics (with GoTrack):

  • Impressions — Estimated number of people who saw the screen
  • Dwell time — Average time people spent looking at the screen
  • Demographics — Age and gender distribution of viewers
  • Attention rate — Percentage of passers-by who looked at the screen

Start by monitoring device uptime. If your screens are not online, nothing else matters. Aim for 99%+ uptime across your network.

Dashboard Widgets

The analytics dashboard includes:

  • Status overview — Quick summary cards with key numbers
  • Trend charts — Line charts showing metrics over time
  • Top content — Most-played content items
  • Device health — Devices with issues or low uptime
  • Store comparison — Compare performance across locations

Filters

Narrow your analytics view:

  • Date range — Custom start and end dates
  • Scope — Brand, region, store, device
  • Content type — Images, videos, compositions
  • Device type — Android, Tizen, WebOS, Windows

Monthly Reports

GoVista sends automated monthly reports via email with:

  • Key performance metrics
  • Device uptime summary
  • Content playback statistics
  • Alerts and issues summary

Analytics data has a short processing delay. Real-time metrics (device status) are instant, but aggregated reports (play counts, audience data) may take up to 1 hour to update.
